We have friends who live in Beaverton. This question may be abit broad, but what is the general radius, from downtown, of areas that most people will extend to, in terms of living in the suburbs that are considered the Portland area. On the Portland Area map Vancouver shows up to the north, but seems far. Do people cross the water? Do people who work in Portland live as far as Hilsboro?How far West, North and South does most of the population typically go to live and still feel they live near or in a suburb of Portland's community and most importantly commute!?
