		<description>I&#039;m pleased that Oregon is doing this. Anything that helps first-time buyers get onto the property ladder is a big help. I know the expense is huge for those starting out, and it feels like a mountain for them to overcome.

It&#039;s a great feeling to own your own home and move away from renting. I know how good it felt when I bought my first property many years ago - I was glad I could finally start punching holes in the walls and making alterations that my landlords would never allow when I was renting.

Owning is the way to go!
