Hey Ron - we're open to doing some guest posts when topics that we can offer our "expertise" on may arise. We'll let you know if we think of anything and of course, feel free to let us know if you have any ideas as well. Thanks!

Ron, great idea! I hope you gets lots of folks raising their hands. It will help generate new ideas and broaden the appeal of your blog. And like Simon, I like the picture, but it kinda scares me!

Ron, like the format! My main comment is concerning the other blogs that condem R.E. agents that recommend inspectors. While I have been in the business for over 25 years I have never "modified" an inspection report for an agent - I have been requested to but refused. The few time I have worked with you, you have never "suggested" how to write my report. Granted there are some local agents that use the "quick and easy" inspectors but they will most always end up with unsatisfied customers in later years. The problem with a poor inspection is that you don't realize you had one until you sell the property and find out that the original inspection failed to mention the $$$ damage caused by termites, rot or other things! Sadly there are poor inspectors out there that, either by their own stupidity or in an effort to please the realtor (for future referrals), give the client a glossed over report. My experience over the years has been that a good agent will give the client references for good inspectors since it is their reputation on the line also. Just my 2 cents worth folks - you as a buyer need to do your homework too!
